Sunday mornings In Waynesburg kids
Here in Waynesburg Kids, our Vision centers around “The 3 B’s”:
BELONG: We want kids to be seen, heard, and known.
BELIEVE: We want kids to know and believe in Jesus as their Savior and King.
BECOME: We want kids to experience God’s presence and apply His truth to every area of their lives.
How do we do this?
Each Sunday and Wednesday our kids are being taught the word of God through fun, hands-on activities that intentionally help connect what is being taught to their everyday lives. All of our leaders are required to have background clearances to work in our Kid’s ministry and go above and beyond to show Jesus to the next generation.
What classroom would my child(ren) be in?
We separate into 4 different age groups: Nursery (birth-18months) Toddlers (18 months- 3 yrs) Preschool (potty trained-Kindegarten) Elementray (K-6). Not ready to drop off right away? That’s ok! Our lobby has a seating area where you can hear the sermon and your kids can play right next to you. We love kids and all their energy here at Waynesburg First!
Nursery (0-18 months)– Our babies in the nursery have a safe environment to play and make new friends. Each week, our babies sing songs and are prayed over by our loving leaders. We want you to be able to sit and enjoy the service, knowing your babies are well cared for. Before dropping off, please indicate which snacks your child is able to have or if you would prefer they only eat snacks you provide. Please make sure all cups and bottles and diaper bags are labled. Should we need to contact you during the service we will use the cell phone number you provided during their registration process.
Toddlers (18 months-3 yrs) – Our toddlers have lots of play time but also are exposed to the foundations of our Christian faith through prayer, songs, and Bible Stories.

Preschool (3-5)– Our preschoolers are greeted with an environment that welcomes play to help them feel comfortable and ready to learn. There are several centers of play, all themed around the Bible lesson and scripture verse for that day. They have a worship time together with age-appropriate songs and hand motions. There are art projects and games that pertain to the lesson. There is so much fun and activity in Preschool.

Elementary (K-6) – Our Elementary class has a wide range of ages, but we plan accordingly so there’s something for everyone. When you first arrive, we are focused on connecting through board games, foosball, and art projects. When the countdown starts that’s our cue to finish up our activities and head to our seats for large group time. We worship together with upbeat songs that have fun motions. Then the word of God is brought to life through puppets, silly characters, object lessons, and games. Every activity is planned with intentionality and somehow leads back to our Bible lesson or scripture for that day. We also spend time in prayer together at the end of our teaching time to apply what we have learned to the rest of our week.
Ready to check us out?

Use this link to pre-register before you come, or just show up and our team will be ready to register you in peron. Service starts at 10 am so plan to arrive a few minutes early to get the kids situated and grab a cup of coffee. When you come through the main lobby look for the Kids Ministry Sign and come down the steps to our check- in desk. You will have a short form to fill out and then your child’s nametag will correspond to a parent/guardian tag that you will hold onto until you pick them up at the end of service.

Our leaders have your contact info, should we need to reach you during the service through text. When the service is over(usually around 11:45) you will pick up each kid from the doorway of each classroom. Your family’s parent/guardian pickup sticker will be what you show to each classroom teacher to match your child’s code before they are released. If you have multiple children/ classrooms, please pickup older children first by showing your parent/guardian tag and then at the last classroom. When you have picked up all your kids you will hand in your sticker to that classroom leader to officially check out your family. This check-out system helps us maintain a secure environment for all our families. If you lose your sticker, you will need to ask for another sticker to be printed from the check-in desk or show your State issued I.D. to pick up your kids.
Safety and Security
All of our kids rooms are cleaned after each use, toys and high touch surfaces are also disinfected. We do have a weekly snack in each room so be sure to indicate on your child’s registration form and to the classroom teacher if there are any allergies. If you or anyone in your household is feeling sick, we encourage you to join us online.
In our kids Check-In area you will also see an extra security person in the hallway to ensure that our classrooms are only accessbile to Parent/Guardians with children attending, or our Kids ministry leaders. Our bathrooms have signs on the outside of the doors letting you know if it is currently being used by our kids. If the sign is turned to stop! Please wait until the bathroom is empty or use the Restrooms at the top of the steps near the worship center. We want you to have peace of mind that your kids are safe and secure while you’re here with us.

Wednesday Night Boys and girls ministries
Nursery , Preschool, Royal Rangers (boys club) and Girls Ministry · Wednesday Nights @ 6:30pm
Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is an activity-based, small group church ministry for boys and young men. Our mission is to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment..
We provide men with the tools to model Christlike manhood as they mentor boys on a Bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered journey to maturity in the faith. Boys learn to study and apply what the Bible says about integrity, doctrine, biblical worldview, cultural issues and manhood. In addition, the Royal Rangers ministry molds boys into servant leaders, teaching them vital social, equipping, attitude, leadership and service skills.
Girls Ministries
Girls Ministries is a church-based discipleship program that has a legacy of godly women coming alongside girls, guiding them on a path to become mature and godly women. Our goal is simple: To see every girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, and to realize her importance and potential in the kingdom of God.
