On September 10th, our youth group will be hosting an event for anyone in grades 6-12 down at our church pavilion to hang out and have smores at a bonfire. We will be having a variety of games and different activities for teenagers to have fun and hangout. The night darts at 6:30pm and will end at 7:45pm.

On September 20th, our youth group will be partnering with other youth groups and schools in our area to help serve and love our community. This is an outreach where Greene County youth pastors and schools work together and try to help with a variety of tasks that can bless local businesses, organizations, and more by cleaning gutters, painting doors, helping serve food, and more. At 8am on September 20th, we will be meeting at The Way in Waynesburg to pray together as a team and then we will be commissioned to go out in the county and complete our tasks until 12pm.

On September 15th, there is a deadline to sign up for Penndel Youth Convention at Kalahari Resorts on October 11-13th. It is a Saturday to Monday event (Monday is Columbus day). Youth Convention is an awesome opportunity for teenagers to gather with other teens from Pennsylvania and Delaware and worship God and listen to sermons but also we will be able to hang out at the indoor water park that is there. 

On September 17th, our youth group will be hosting an event in our gym to raise money for a project that we have partnered with in Speed The Light. Speed the Light is a missionary program which helps fund different missionary projects around the world and also helps missionaries receive a variety of needs to spread the Gospel such as vehicles, discipleship resources and more. The project that we are focusing on raising money for is called Project Rescue. It is a project that is helping rescue young kids and teenagers from sex slavery in Southern Asia. They are in the process of building an academy that will be able to house over 1000 children. 

September 24th is a national day of prayer where teenagers will be gathering at their school flag pole around 7am to pray for their schools, their teachers, their classmates, and this country.
